Immigration litigation. Immigration litigation.
Immigration and criminal laws interact in many different ways. The immigration consequences of a criminal conviction is one of the most complex and technical areas of law.
I exclusively practice Criminal and Immigration Law so that you have the knowledge and expertise for both areas on your side.
A criminal conviction can make a non-citizen removable and/or inadmissible to the United States. Even long-term permanent residents can be (and are routinely) deported from the United States for committing certain serious offenses. Further, a criminal record could affect an immigrant’s ability to seek adjustment of status (get a Green Card) or become a U.S. citizen.
